CAT20 Swap V3

  1. Select the trading pair of your choice.

  2. Enter the swap amount.

  3. Click Swap after you're happy with everything.

The price you see is calculated based on what's left in the swap pool after your trade would happen. We use a special math formula (called x*y=k) to figure this out.

Because of how this works, the price on DotSwap might be different from what you see on other trading sites.

This difference can be more noticeable for bigger trades, as they have a larger impact on the pool's balance. So, if you're swapping a lot of tokens, keep in mind that the price might shift more than you expect.

  1. Complete the signing action in your wallet. (You will be able to see how much BTC or Runes you're getting in the inputs/outputs information)

  • Liquidity: Be aware that the liquidity in the pool can affect the price impact of your swap, especially for larger amounts.

  • Transaction Fees: Remember that you'll need to pay network fees in BTC for the transaction. Ensure you have enough BTC to cover these fees.

  • Service and LP Fees: There is a default 2% LP fee and 0.5% service fee for CAT20 trading pairs. Check out more in .

  • Security: Always double-check the URL (top level domain name ends in dotswap.app) to ensure you're on the correct website. Be cautious of phishing attempts.
